Austin's Birthday

We celebrated Austin's actual birthday with his favorite meal (sweet potatoes), a slice of cake (with a candle!), singing Happy Birthday, and opening presents. It was a nice, quiet, relaxing night as a family. Love you baby, Happy Birthday!!

ABOUT THIS BLOG:

I'm a Wisconsinite who moved first to Michigan (for graduate school), then to Georgia (for my first "real" job), and then to Texas (for the '08 economy).
I'm married to the awesomest guy ever, Seth, and my current full time job is as a SAHM to our three sons--Austin, Graham, and Carson. I have a side gig selling books with Usborne Books & More and spend lots of unpaid hours volunteering at our boys' local public school and at church. We live in NW Dallas in a ranch-style home from the 1950s and have a sweet, sassy Labradoodle named Georgia Mae who will always have been our first baby.
I'm from the north, and though I very much identify with being a Yankee, as soon as I moved to Georgia, it felt like moving home. Sometimes I feel more like a Peach than a Cheesehead though I'll always cheer for the Packers. I like sweet tea, big front porches, and am thrilled that I get to say "y'all" and "Ma'am" without people cringing.
This blog isn't about any one thing in particular, but rather about all things. I'll share family stories/pictures, vent, and probably ask for advice. Thanks for reading!
