Dallas Children's Theater: Suessical

We decided that we needed to find a way for me to spend some 1:1 time with the boys, and Dallas Children's Theater was the perfect way. We got season tickets before Seth got laid off, so it was perfect! I was able to still take the boys to some fun shows and it not affect the budget.

The whole theater will sing if you have a birthday in that month or the following month. Both boys got to go up front and hear the whole place singing.

Color Between the Wines 1.0 (Fall 2016)

One of the benefits of my new business venture with Usborne Books & More is learning about the benefits of coloring. I knew I liked it, but there's actual research behind the brain benefits for adults as well as kids! I decided to start having a few events with my friends. I had coloring books, crayons/markers/colored pencils, and snacks. We had so much fun! It was easy to plan, a lot of fun, and everyone keeps asking to do another one!

Christ 4 Kids Starts Up -- Graham and Carson Fall 2016

These cuties started another year at C4K. Carson is in the "Infant Room" again this year, but the name is in quotes because the average age in the class is like 18 months old. Graham is in Ms. Carol's class. I'm so glad that another son got to have her as a teacher. She's one of my favorites. She's so good at being warm but firm and is very knowledgeable.

Pine Cove Family Conference -- Fall 2016

We went to Pine Cove again over Labor Day weekend. Seth had just gotten laid off, so the timing seemed bad, but they gave us a big discount and it was nice to act as nothing was "off" about our life. We had time to bond better with the friends we made the year prior and I'm super glad we did it. We have officially drunk the Kool Aid!
