DCT: Blue!

It is our goal that the boys spend 1:1 time with their parents and the emphasis is that I find time to do something with them. Time together seems harder to come by as their mother, so we hope to find something for me to do with them a couple times a year. Going to shows at the Dallas Children's Theater is an easy one because they enjoy the shows for their age and it's something I enjoy doing as well--seeing plays and musicals. Here's Carson and I going to see Blue!

Dallas Children's Theater: Suessical

We decided that we needed to find a way for me to spend some 1:1 time with the boys, and Dallas Children's Theater was the perfect way. We got season tickets before Seth got laid off, so it was perfect! I was able to still take the boys to some fun shows and it not affect the budget.

The whole theater will sing if you have a birthday in that month or the following month. Both boys got to go up front and hear the whole place singing.

March was crazy. My biggest complaint about the month is that it rained all spring break. My biggest excitement is all the videos I managed to take. I don't often remember to do that, but I want to be better about it.

Spring Break.

Spring Break hair cuts for all! She even trimmed up Seth's hair which was super nice.

Austin and I went to see Zootopia for his Momma:Son Date. He picked the snack and drink he wanted and we had a good time. There's a spot in the movie that scared him pretty badly, but we stuck it out and it ends on a good note.

It was dark when we left and he loved the lights!

Family Trip to Mellow Mushroom one nice afternoon so we could enjoy the patio. Carson LOVED the food!

The last of the bamboo was cut!

The end of an era. It just stopped cutting nails which was weird.

I bought these little blocks off Facebook to create some letter blocks we could practice with. The boys do a great job finding the alphabet and words from this.

We finally decided on a school!
