As usual, December was a whirlwind. Christmas activities, sickness, and nasal surgery were our top hits from the month. I'm so exhausted by it I can't get myself to write more. Enjoy the pictures!

| Bass Pro Trip with Daddy |
Why does he seem so grown up in these pictures? And have you ever seen so much drool!?
I found this printable from Sweet Blessings, a blog I follow. Truer words were never spoken. ;-) |
| "He got the head proportion right." -Seth |
My tree finally decided to whip itself into the gorgeous colors we bought it for. (I say my tree because it was my Mother's Day gift from Seth and the boys. It's an October Glory Maple.)
| On the wall at preschool. SO. Stinkin. CUTE! |
Sometimes she slithers up and helps herself to the couch. She deserves it. She has a rough life. lol |
The boys came back from decorating cookies at Nonnie's and immediately tried to find their name. |
| Pediatrics after hours for a Graham ear infection. Hurray for Ariel! |
| I have never ever gotten a cherry in a Swirl. :-| |
Playskool replaced his Gloworm for like the 5th time. New version this time, though, so I'm hoping it lasts longer! |
Gorgeous Sunrise!
An amazing friend was super duper kind enough to make an entire dinner bag for us plus some activities for the boys. We had all been sick and I had just had enough of life and this was a major blessing.
I got to see Melanie Shankle speak at an event in Coppell. The same event I saw Jen Hatmaker at last year. I hesitated about bringing all three books, but decided to throw caution to the wind and did it anyways!
| I had to crop the reflection of my backside out of this photo. |
| Sweet, hungry, sleepy boy in bed with us. |
| Little and Big in "matching" outfits. |
During Seth's work party, I stay home with the boys, put them to bed early and watching White Christmas. The scene about counting our blessings made me cry. I guess I needed that reminder this year more than in years past. I love that movie!
Fun playdate over Christmas break when Kinder was out. Love these 5 boys! |
| One Activity was a pizza and games night. Uno Moo... such a "classic." |
School parties.
I hit the jackpot at the kitchen supply store near us. I'd been looking for a cinnamon sugar container for years and finally tried here and they had the perfect thing! |
| Elf with Kim and David... a tradition that I love. |
| "Do you want it gift wrapped, sir?" |
Delaney got baptized in December, the Sunday before Christmas and their church was decorated gorgeously. We had hardly been to church ourselves because of illness and it felt really nice to see all the decorations they had. And, obviously, to see her get baptized.
| We always look a little bit like a zoo. |
| James Avery cross |
| We were like "where's the chicken?" |
Group trip to Costco. Mostly to get formula for Carson. Could. Not. Get. All. To. Look. At. The. Same. Time. |
| Austin and Graham were busy putting on concerts this day. |
| So smiley and sweet. |
| He graduated from OT! |
| He got increasingly mobile and the blanket didn't make much sense anymore. |
| Free at El Fenix one night. |
| I love that we watch this and read this each year--The Polar Express. |
| Graham and his girlfriend Rachel having a playdate at Rachel's house. |
| A rare but welcome occurrence. |
| My once-a-year nails. |
Dimpled and crazy-haired Elf.
| Festive Lefse |
We had a game afternoon.
Seth and I tried out his new Christmas gift and then we encouraged Austin to play a game not designed just for kids. He beat us!
| nom nom nom |
| Seth really put the pancake pencil to good use! |
| I love getting reminders/pieces of home and this puzzle was perfect! |
| The Astronaut and his Leapfrog Pen |
I introduced them to the Transformers "Daddy used to watch." After a few times, they still preferred to watch Rescue Bots. And so do I, honestly. |
Both of these games are big hits with us. Count your Chickens above and Sneaky Squirrel below.
I have always loved this scene from the Herbie movies. And I love that my sons are so into cars that this classic was a hit with them. |
| couch snuggles |
Me, the night after surgery. The leaking blood was not expected.
Still had a good New Years Eve, though.
