Christmas Season 2013 -- Neighbor Cookies

Once again this year (we've done this every year we've been married--see previous two years HERE and HERE) we made, "decorated" and delivered cookies to everyone on our street. This year, Austin actually helped with the cookies and that was SO amazing and SO fun. LOVED having him help. He didn't last the entire process, but we were glad for any of his assistance. Also, we don't have an apron for him, so I just draped this one around his shoulders. (Note to self: add boy-ish apron to his Amazon wish list.)

Graham "helped" too by being a very good, happy boy in his high chair, watching us.

Austin helped at first by tearing smaller chunks off the big hunk of cookie dough and handing them to Seth to roll into balls to be baked. And when they were baked, he helped put the Hershey kiss on the top or the sprinkles on the top. It was so cute to see him care so much about helping!

This house had several papers sitting in the yard and we decided to help by bringing them to the door with us.

The best part of delivering cookies this year for Austin was the fact that there were tons of puddles and he got run through them at will.

This is the best smile I could get out of him during the whole delivering.

Graham was a champ riding from house to house, watching us and getting lots of compliments.

Lots of rain equals lots of big, fun puddles to jump in. The camera was actually working that day so I tried my best to get some fun action shots. Enjoy.
