Random Cast Pictures

Here is a selection of photos documenting the month we spent with Austin's cast.

They handed me these at our appointment BEFORE they had even taken an x-ray!

His first day with the cast. He was unwilling to walk or even crawl, really. I feared the most horrible month ahead.

Going to school. Austin making one of his silly faces. He squishes up his nose and giggles at the camera.

Once he figured out he could walk on it, he was back to tearing up his room just like normal.

And wearing himself out wherever we went.

Mother's Day 2012

Mother's Day lunch at El Fenix. Austin was killing time on Grandma Houston's walker.

In an attempt to take a good photo of the cast on his leg (how high it went, etc), I got several shots of him playing around his room wearing just a diaper. In the end, he stopped at each angle for me to take a picture. Including the backside! It was almost like he knew what he was doing.

He posed this way all on his own! (Turning and stopping at each side for me to get a good shot!)

He wore himself out at church, and we'd only been there for one service!

The final picture of him with a cast. They were literally wheeling in the cast saw as I was taking this picture.
