I had them wear Halloween shirts to school several times to try to get use out of them, and these are the best pictures I could get of my pumpkin boys.
Seth did the pumpkin carving with the boys and since one was too rotten already (too warm this month!), he did two faces on a single pumpkin, just using the opposite sides. On the actual day, we trick or treated our street and then were home eating candy from the pile we collected and handing out candy. The boys have so much fun handing out candy! It seems like such a good way to teach that it's good to give. Receiving feels good from early on, but they have learned giving is great too. And we put Carson to bed in the middle that and it's just such a fun evening just us hanging up.

My new wreath.
One lit pumpkin and one slightly-rotten one. I love how the bricks look so good now! |
Austin chose his costume last year after Halloween at a Target Clearance sale, I bought Graham's and Carson's off a Facebook site, not giving either a chance for an opinion. I already bought a costume for Graham to wear next year, and there's lots of talk around here about wanting to do a TMNT theme, so I'm not pushing any agenda just now. I imagine not getting away cheaply anymore.

I love how Elaine handed him this one. She did it slowly enough, it seemed, so I could get a perfect picture. Love our sweet neighbors! |
