Cute Pic Post -- July 2015

July was a long month, literally and figuratively. Carson's an easy going, trooper of a third child, so that's awesome. Our small group was in full swing all summer which was awesome. We tried to spend plenty of time outside enjoying the summer whilst also caring for the newborn in the house. We continued our Movie Education Mondays which is me showing classics to the boys each week and also watched plenty of their movies as well. Austin tried a baseball class, I went to the Fair Park Music Hall twice in two weeks, we celebrated Seth turning 37, had more foundation work done, and really got into our groove as a family of 5. I love my boys!

Hurray for a Helper!
I love our small group at church!
I think Stacey's leading them through a book,
but I just love how focused they all are.
I took the bigs to Inside Out. (I majorly dislike the movie.)
It's hard to see, but I love how Graham was sitting.
Austin is nearly fully done with naps now. He has a hard time going to sleep at night if he does sleep, but he will also fall asleep in the middle of the afternoon if he doesn't take one. SOUND ASLEEP.
That one time Carson was sitting on the pillow and had a blowout!
Good thing they're washable!
Shopping with just one sweet boy!
I bought this off someone off Facebook because
it supposedly helps with bugs if you're wearing it.
Much like bug spray.
It got too hot to try it much, but I do love the smell!
Seth got strawberry nubs on his plant!
playing at the FB Rec Center!
Major rainstorm that lasted 4 minutes.
Cyndi and boys came over on a Wednesday evening
to give me relief since Seth was gone all night.
Love having such great friends!
"Our" Starbucks was under construction and it seemed to take forever.
I did this survey and found this question crazy. Goodness!
I love when the bigs want to hold him!
Boys and their Baseball Gloves. Aren't these pictures of these two sweet brothers just the best!?!?
This is my goal. This is why this job is exhausting!
Splashpark fun! Carson slept the whole time and the bigs had a blast!
lol!
My last baby to nurse. :-)     My last baby to nurse. :-(
We decided at the last minute to take the boys to the Barber Shop where Seth gets his hair cut. The boys did ok, Graham better than Austin as usual, but the cuts were not good enough to spend that kind of money. Grr. Back to doing them myself, I guess.
We celebrated Seth's birthday! The boys are always willing to help you open your gift.
He's so tiny in this picture.
I loved the overlapping hands!
Sweet baby boy is Milk Drunk.
Date Night to see Pippin!
Getting in snuggles while I still can!
We went to Jump Street for the first time and it instantly became one of my favorite places! I got work done, Carson slept, ate, and chilled in his carseat while the bigs jumped and jumped and jumped!
We took a mini-staycation this month (babies are hard on the vacation budget!) to The Frog Pond in Farmers Branch. The bigs had a blast and Carson enjoyed himself as well. He got wet for a little bit but then just stayed with me under the major canopy.
We took Austin to a free trial baseball class with Texas Premier Sports (formally Little Sluggers) and the littles did a great job being patient while Austin did a great job practicing. Coach Kirby was a leftie too, so that seemed to really encourage Austin to participate well and thoroughly.
wishing he was playing...
I have the most thoughtful BFF ever.
Foundation work--the boys love watching!
If Daddy's lap becomes available, it gets filled!
My Grandma gave me this bed and a friend gave us a free box spring.
Now Austin has a "real" bed!
We celebrated National Ice Cream Day as anyone should celebrate it--
Braum's and an ice cream sundae!
Sound Asleep.
Carson was having a hard day and I found these game pieces all over the place after a particularly hard period.
I didn't do the Summer School activities like I would have liked to (having a baby makes time hard to come by around here), but sensing that Austin was struggling with some fine motor issues, I decided to really focus on things that will help them grasp things better. The first activity we did was putting little pom poms into muffin cups according to color. Graham's were a little bigger than Austin's (two different sizes of pom poms), but both did a GREAT job at this activity. I encouraged them to just use two fingers to pick them up and drop into the cup. We were missing some cups for a couple pom pom colors, so they improvised where to put them. Very happy how this activity turned out.
Next we did some beads and lacing cards that we borrowed from my friend Laura. Both boys did these things several times over several weeks and I think their "performance" was as good as I could have hoped for!
Photo-capturing sweet, pudgy baby parts.
Watching the Bulk Trash pick-up during which they used the regular truck. :-|
UM. Another finger sucker?
I saw these two memes on Facebook and about died laughing at how true they have been this summer. Whoo! I'm hanging on by a thread these days!
SOUND ASLEEP.
Big and Little. :-)
I went to Carter's.
When I sent this picture to Seth, he replied "I'll call and up our credit limit." :-)
Seth made this recipe (that I pulled from a magazine) and it was SO GOOD!!!
I had Austin by himself
(essentially since Carson's pretty contained),
so I treated him to IHOP.
This is both a Brother's Picture and an Outfit Picture.
That swirl. That outfit. My sweet snuggler.
lol!
Lining up these three backpacks made my heart expand and contract at the same time.
After going to our neighborhood pool without his shoes,
Austin's toes looked like dancer's toes.
That's certainly one thing I don't miss!
Our oldest and our youngest babies on the couch with us that night.
